"I first met Jessica because my vet recommended PEMF for a bite injury on my endurance mare, and Jessica was a local practitioner with a PEMF machine. This bite injury was causing serious issues because 1. the bite wound is exactly where the saddle edge sits (and moves), and 2. my mare is the most sensitive horse west of the Mississippi. Although we started with PEMF only, next time we also agreed to have a body work session. She suggested graston instead PEMF for the bite wound, which proved far more effective. Katrina absolutely loved the osteopathic work, and she loved Jessica. Therefore, Jessica is now doing regular osteopathic work on Katrina, and after a few graston sessions the bite wound while still visible has healed so much that it has caused ZERO PROBLEMS over an endurance ride season that included five 50 mile competitions in very rugged terrain. This was unimaginable the year before, as we barely made it through 25 mile rides, and then with a lot of back soreness. Jessica is highly intuitive to the horse and their body, and picks up on many things that a vet doesn’t due to her whole-horse approach (and has good suggestions to support them). She has a wealth of knowledge and when she is here we always have great conversations about everything horse and horse health. Although I didn’t seek her out initially for her osteopathy training, I can’t imagine a better person to keep my mare’s body and mind happy, and as we head into our first 100 mile endurance ride season I am thrilled to have Jessica on the team."
